Clae 2009 Fall Collection Delivery 1

As a poster-child for small and innovative sneaker brands, Clae gives us the goods for the 2009 fall/winter collection. Their initial foray into the sneaker market brought us the first taste of sneaker meets shoe styling creating a more refined upper with a sneaker outsole. A preview of their 2009 fall/winter collection includes some familiar classics including the Whitman, Kennedy, Rollins, Romare Lo/Hi, Thompson and Russell.

Ferrari 458 Italia

Replacing the outgoing Ferrari F430, the 458 Italia represents Ferrari’s latest engineering conquest. The mid-engined 4.5L V8 enjoys power increases over its predecessor as factory numbers point to outputs of 570 hp and 398 lb-ft of torque with the majority of the pull available at 3,250 rpm. The relatively lightweight aluminum chassis results in a 3,042 lbs dry weight with performance numbers suggesting 0-62 mph sprints of 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 202 mph. The 458 Italia is the first Ferrari V8 to break the 200 mph mark. The car will be officially unveiled in September of this year at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

DJ Hero: Jay-Z x Eminem “Renegade” Edition

Tracing back to the Jay-Z and Eminem collaborative track from 2001’s The Blueprint album, DJ Hero creates a special version of their newly developed video game system, appropriately entitled the Renegade Edition. Along with a special version turntable, the set will feature a convertible hardcase turned stand, and two-disc CD set, featuring previously unreleased music from Hip-Hop legends, Jay-Z and Eminem.

Mosley Tribes Resort 2010 Spring/Summer Collection

Mosley Tribes pulls the veil off their resort 2010 spring/summer collection as they introduce and highlight some new styles. At the forefront of the collection are: the modifed aviator, the Becker which features vintage elements and a Zyl sweat bar with matching temple tips; the unisex Patterson with 70’s retro sport inspired French styling and finally the Chambers. The Chambers features a wrap style with black marble and tortoise acetate colors. The collection will hit stores starting October, 2009.

I showed you the video efx screen shots, now look at some behind the scene shots from this past weekend. Had fun on this one and got no sleep but that's what you do when you work hard to get where you want to be. Nike Sportswear x INSA “Looking for Love” Exhibition Recap

Known for his sometimes provocative and women-centric themes to his work, the Nike Sportswear x INSA “Looking for Love” exhibition was arguably centerpieced by his work on the “INSA Vortex” which engulfed the room. Smaller works included some pieces which play on some of INSA’s popular icons such as the usage of pink and element of femininity. In addition, some pieces INSA were removed from their original spots and also brought in for showcasing.
